The letters
Engagement letter
You choose the fee basis (hourly rates or estimate) and the paragraphs to include, including the language clause for Quebec. The Quebec or federal template follows the client's province. You can also import last year's letter.
Acknowledgement of management's responsibilities and letter to the predecessor firm
The variables fill in: client name and address, year end, partner, firm name. Letters print on your letterhead, and Ledger flags any placeholders left to complete before printing.
The compilation engagement report prints with the financial statements.
Review engagement (CSRE 2400)
Offered as an add-on to your plan. The same screen as the compilation, with what a review requires on top: materiality, planning by area, a program for each area and the conclusion.

Three examples
A recurring compilation
You open the forms for Example Company Inc. for its second year. The header is filled in and the acceptance form shows the questions for a recurring engagement. You answer with the keyboard: Y, N or A. In the understanding of the entity, you confirm what has not changed and correct the rest. The next day, the overview tells you where to pick up.
The engagement letter
The client is in Quebec: the Quebec template is selected. You import last year's letter, change the fee basis and add a paragraph. Ledger flags a placeholder left blank, you complete it, and the letter prints on your letterhead, in English or French.
A first review
Materiality is suggested from the trial balance, and planning shows the areas above it. Only the programs you need get a tab. The predecessor accountant letters are added, and at the end, the conclusion carries to the review engagement report.

Can I print the forms in French?
